Papo Sea Dragon 36037

The Papo Sea Dragon brings a legendary-looking creature into underwater and coastal adventures. This plastic figure can swim through an imagined ocean, hide among rocky shores or rise from the waves to meet sailors, explorers and other fantasy animals.

Children can create a whole underwater world around the Sea Dragon using other figures and everyday objects as scenery. It might protect a reef, search for a lost treasure or guide a small group through dangerous waters. The figure is equally suited to a quick story and to a longer adventure that develops over several play sessions.

Explore an imagined world beneath the waves

A sea-based setting gives children plenty of story decisions to make. They can choose where the dragon lives, what it is looking for and whether the characters it meets are friends or rivals. A simple journey across the floor can become a voyage through deep water, a rescue mission or a meeting with a hidden sea kingdom.

This kind of open-ended play supports imagination and communication as children build scenes, describe what happens next and adapt the story as new ideas appear. The Sea Dragon also adds variety to a collection of fantasy figures by opening up adventures beyond castles, caves and forests.
