Papo Basilisk 36041

The Papo Basilisk 36041 brings a legendary creature into imaginative play. A child can place it at the edge of a castle, guard a hidden route or create a challenge for figures from another fantasy story.

Its creature design gives storytelling a clear starting point. The basilisk might be protecting an ancient secret, searching for a safe lair or facing a brave adventurer. Children can change the story each time they play, building scenes around the figure with other toys they already own.

A creature for fantasy adventures

Fantasy figures encourage children to invent characters, problems and solutions. They can decide whether the basilisk is a dangerous enemy, a misunderstood creature or a powerful guardian. This kind of open-ended play supports imagination and spoken storytelling while giving children space to lead the action.

The figure also suits collecting. It can become part of a growing group of animals, mythical beings and adventure characters, or take centre stage in a small scene on its own. Handling the figure as children arrange and rearrange their play helps develop simple fine motor control.
