Papo Pirate Axe 39421

Papo Pirate Axe adds a strong character to pirate-themed imaginative play. Children can place this pirate in charge of a crew, send him searching for treasure or make him part of a tense encounter on an invented voyage.

The figure can be used on its own or alongside other pirate toys and figures. A child might build a ship from a cardboard box, create a harbour on the floor or turn a few cushions into an island. The pirate then becomes part of a story shaped by the child’s own ideas.

Make space for storytelling

There is no single way to play with this figure. The pirate could guard a map, negotiate with another captain or help a crew find its way home. Choosing characters and deciding what happens next helps children practise sequencing, language and imaginative problem-solving in a natural way.

Papo Pirate Axe can also expand a collection of pirate figures. More characters create opportunities for teamwork, conflict and changing roles, giving children new scenes to recreate. It is a straightforward choice for an adult looking to add another individual to a pirate play world.
