Papo Pirate Corsair Grapnel 39442

The Papo Pirate Corsair Grapnel 39442 is ready to take part in daring boarding adventures and treasure hunts. Children can place the corsair on a ship, send the character towards a hidden island or create a tense scene where the crew must reach safety before the tide turns.

This figure gives pirate play a clear sense of action. Children can invent a mission, choose which characters belong to the crew and decide how the corsair tackles each challenge. The story might involve a lost map, a guarded chest or a race to escape from a rocky cove.

Plan the next voyage

As children move the figure between settings, they practise building a story with a beginning, a problem and a solution. They can use speech, movement and simple props to develop their ideas. Playing alongside other figures also encourages shared storytelling, with each child taking a role in the adventure.

Made from plastic, this figure is a useful addition to a pirate collection. The supplied age guidance is 3 years or older, making it suitable for children who enjoy character-based action play and adults building a themed group of figures.
