Papo Pirate Kraken 39483

The Papo Pirate Kraken brings a legendary sea monster into pirate play. Children can imagine it rising from the waves to challenge a crew, protect a secret island or appear during a dangerous voyage.

There is no single way to use the figure. The Kraken might be a fearsome opponent in a sea battle, a creature that needs help or a guardian whose trust must be earned. Children can decide what has brought it to the story and how the pirates will respond.

Turn the sea into an adventure

Use the Kraken with pirate figures and a raft to create changing scenes. A calm journey can become a rescue mission, while a search for treasure can lead to an encounter in an uncharted part of the sea. Moving figures through these moments encourages children to build a beginning, middle and ending for their own stories.

The Pirate Kraken adds a clear fantasy element to a Papo collection and gives children a memorable character for dramatic small-world play. Its plastic construction is suited to imaginative play and repeated story-making.
