Papo Puma 50189

The Papo Puma 50189 gives children a powerful wild cat to place at the centre of their own animal stories. It can explore an imagined mountain, forest or rocky landscape, moving through the scene as children decide what happens next.

Use the puma as a solitary character or add it to a larger collection of wildlife figures. Children can invent a journey through the wilderness, create encounters with other animals and arrange a setting that changes as the story develops. The figure offers open-ended play without prescribing one particular adventure.

Build a wild-cat adventure

A child might imagine the puma tracking a route through the landscape, finding shelter or watching over its surroundings. Moving the figure from one part of the scene to another helps bring the story into action and encourages children to think about setting, sequence and character.

The puma can also support curiosity about wild animals and the environments they inhabit. Children can compare it with other animal figures, group figures into different habitats or use it as a central character in a longer story. Handling the figure while arranging scenes gives fine motor skills a natural role in play.
