Papo Red Panda 50217

The Papo Red Panda 50217 brings a small, distinctive woodland animal into imaginative play. A child can place it among plants, rocks or other animal figures and create a quiet forest scene, then move the story on as the red panda explores its surroundings.

Its recognisable red panda form gives children a starting point for pretend play and conversations about animals. The figure can be used on its own for simple storytelling or added to a growing collection of wildlife figures. Children can decide where it lives, what it discovers and which other animals it encounters.

Build a woodland story

Use the red panda to create different scenes from one play session to the next. It might be searching through the forest, resting in a sheltered spot or meeting another animal on an imaginary adventure. Moving the figure, arranging a setting and acting out each part of the story can support imaginative thinking and fine motor skills.

For adults choosing an animal figure, this is a straightforward way to introduce a less familiar animal through play. It also makes a useful addition to animal collections, giving children another character to include in sorting, comparing and storytelling games.
