Schleich Chinese New Year Dragon 72206

The Schleich Chinese New Year Dragon 72206 gives children a character to place at the centre of festive-inspired fantasy stories. It might lead a parade, visit a busy celebration or travel through an imagined landscape to deliver an important message.

Children can decide how the dragon moves through their story and who it meets along the way. Other figures can become friends, helpers or fellow travellers. The dragon may also take on a protective role, watching over a village or guiding characters towards a special gathering.

Bring a dragon celebration to life

This figure encourages children to combine storytelling with pretend events. They can create a route for the dragon, arrange a gathering and invent what happens when unexpected visitors arrive. Repeating the same scene with a different outcome helps keep the story in the child's hands.

Imaginative play with a distinctive dragon character can support language, sequencing and creative thinking without turning play into a lesson. The figure can stand alone as the main character or join a wider collection of fantasy animals and figures.
