Schleich Collie 13998

The Schleich Collie gives children a loyal-looking dog character for imaginative play. It can become a family pet, a companion on an outdoor expedition or one member of a larger group of animal figures.

A child can create a home for the Collie, take it on an imagined walk or send it exploring a countryside setting. The figure can take part in quiet everyday scenes as well as bigger adventures. Children decide its name, personality and role, then change the story whenever they choose.

A familiar dog for open-ended stories

Collies are recognisable dogs, which makes this figure an approachable addition to pet-themed play. Children can compare it with other dogs in their collection, notice differences between characters and decide how they might behave together.

Through pretend care, children can explore ideas about companionship and looking after animals in a way that follows their own interests. Positioning the figure, arranging a scene and moving it from one part of the story to another also adds hands-on problem-solving. The Collie can stand alone in a simple story or join other Schleich figures and playsets.
