Schleich Lava Snail 70851

The Schleich Lava Snail 70851 introduces a small but striking fantasy creature to imaginative play. Children can place it in a volcanic landscape, send it across a dangerous trail or imagine it emerging from a warm, glowing cavern.

Its unusual name gives children a starting point for their own stories. The Lava Snail could be a creature that explorers are trying to find, a guide through a rocky world or a surprising companion for other fantasy figures. Children decide how it moves through the story and what happens next.

Small figure, open-ended stories

This figure can encourage children to notice how a character’s identity shapes a play scene. They can invent a habitat, describe the challenges it faces and build a journey around its imagined abilities. Moving it between different figures and settings supports storytelling and fine motor practice.

The Lava Snail also adds variety to a fantasy collection. It can sit alongside larger creatures as part of a shared world, helping children create contrasts between characters and develop adventures with different roles.
