Schleich Occamy 14903

The Schleich Occamy 14903 gives children a striking fantasy creature to place at the centre of their own stories. It can appear in a hidden nest, travel through an imaginary world or join a collection of unusual creatures waiting for their next adventure.

Children can create a character for the Occamy and decide how it fits into their play. Perhaps it protects a secret place, helps a group of explorers or needs guiding safely through an unfamiliar landscape. Moving the figure between scenes encourages children to build a story step by step and explain what happens along the way.

A fantasy creature with many possible roles

The Occamy works well as a character in open-ended play because there is no single story it has to follow. A child can use it alongside other figures, create a small scene or make it part of a larger fantasy world. Each new setting offers a chance to practise imagination, language and storytelling.

When the adventure ends, the figure can remain part of a growing collection. Its unusual identity makes it a useful starting point for conversations about mythical creatures and the difference between real animals and fantasy creations.
