Schleich Stone Triceratops 70828

The Schleich Stone Triceratops gives prehistoric play a rugged fantasy twist. Children can place this powerful-looking dinosaur in a rocky landscape, lead it into an adventure or make it part of a story where dinosaurs and mythical creatures meet.

Its triceratops identity provides a familiar starting point for play. Children can imagine it searching for food, protecting its territory or travelling with a herd. They can also use it in more fantastical stories, turning it into a guardian of ancient stones or a companion on a dinosaur expedition.

Build a prehistoric world

This figure works well as a central character or alongside other dinosaur figures. Children can arrange a play scene, decide which creatures live there and create problems for their characters to solve. A sudden change in the story might send the Stone Triceratops towards safety, into a contest of strength or on a search for another dinosaur.

As children move figures and narrate their ideas, they develop storytelling skills without needing a fixed script. They make choices, explore cause and effect and learn to give characters different roles. The Stone Triceratops also offers a simple way to encourage curiosity about dinosaurs while leaving plenty of room for invented adventures.
